Vehicle Description THE CORRECT VIN NUMBER OF THIS CAR IS: WP0ZZZ92ZBS800324. eBay rejects this VIN number as invalid, probably because this is a european car. I ran this car through carfax when I bought it so I know it's the correct VIN. It's also of course on the title and on the ID plates of the car. (The vin number used to post was borrowed from another ad just to get eBay to accept the submission.) The good stuff: Current Virginia inspection Runs strong New gas tank and fuel sender Relatively new tires New air pump (needed to pass emissions) Straight body with just a small bit of corner rust here and there Aluminum hood and front fenders in good shape No body "dings" to speak of The interior leather is in great shape. The bad and the ugly: My mechanic advises that it will cost $2400 to fix a problem that just occurred...the water pump is leaking, so that has to be done along with the timing belt and all seals. The dash is cracked of course cuz it's an older Porsche. Besides that, once in a while the synchro causes a very, very slight problem getting into second gear. Also, my mechanic says that something in the front brakes should be done within a year, and the air direction controls work fine, but the sliding switch to go from hot to cold is jammed. Also, the crappy cd player that the previous owner put in does not work. Vehicle Condition Engine runs great. Other mechanical fair. Interior Fair. Body/paint are fair. Terms of Sale I would advise not driving the car more than a mile or two.
