928 Owners Club International Convention 2004, Wichita, KS

OK interested parties, here is the list of awards, trophies,
recognition, goodies and door prizes for the 928 OC-IC.  It was quite a
scene, giving away thousands of dollars worth of tires (like FOUR sets
and a certificate from Tire Rack!) and other great prizes...read on.

THANK YOU to our wonderful sponsors for your excellent support of the
928 community and this event!  You all ROCK!

And while I'm thanking people I must mention that this would not be
possible without the support of all the ATTENDEES.  The 928 DELEGATES
Baby.  Awesome bunch of people, thank you all for coming.  Thanks to the
928 Owners Club for supporting these efforts, Stan Shaw, President and
the entire 928 OC Board and Trustees deserve kudos for helping see this
through.

David and Jeannie Roberts of 928 Specialists provided amazing support
from the very beginning.  That must be known, they are great people.

Mark Anderson and 928 International were right there with help on the
tech panel and sponsorship as well.  Jim Bailey wanted to be here and
was missed, but we know someone has to take care of biz.

Dan Bise and Teri Knebel for the awards design, logo, commentary work,
administration, computer, general design and administration work.
Excellent support, unfailing efforts, you two are responsible for a
quality event!

Mo Zahr for giving up his shop and time, expertise and support to help
make this a reality.  Mo also made his shop available after hours to
attendees with issues and basically did this at no charge.  Hooray for
Mo and Best Mechanical Work!

Joe Hartup, fellow 928er and sound man donated the PA, music system and
jammin' DJ set-up for the receptions, the tech session and the Concours
events.  Thanks a ton Joe, great work.

John McDermott and the Cimarron Region HANDLED the track day and managed
the rain too!  Great job guys, an excellent day of learning.

Rich Andrade and Kim Crumb for heading up the Concours event, thanks!

Betsy Andrade for working a 928 OC-IC goodie store and helping everyone
with everything (she is great!).

Chris Baron, fellow 928er and photographer for capturing some excellent
images from the action at the track and show.  I hope to send all
attendees a photo CD we are working on and make a poster or two available.
