| When we purchased the car I had the hood, front fenders, front bumper cover, rear bumper cover and rocker panels resprayed. The work was done correctly by removing all the parts (except front fenders) which in turn were individually painted by a local body shop that does very high end work. The hood had some etching marks either some sort of chemical overspray that couldn't be buffed out. The front fenders also had evidence of the same etching and the left front fender had a spot on the paint that was not repairable. The front bumper cover was resprayed so it would match the fenders and hood. The rocker panels were resprayed due to rock chips. The rear bumper cover was resprayed because at some point someone removed and replaced the "928 GTS" emblem, put it in the wrong place (see previous owner pics) and then sprayed clear coat over the emblem while on the car. When I removed the emblem to put it in the correct position there was an outline in the clear coat that could not be buffed out.
