General:
I run www.928registry.org and am a long time Porsche 928 enthusiast, I have owned 7 928s (3 GTSs) over the years and currently have 3 928s including 2 1995 928 GTSs. I have been gathering information on the 928 GTS built from 1993 through 1995 when production officially ended. In 1995 Porsche imported just 77 928 GTSs into all of North America. This car is the 6th to the last built for the North American market and is one of the most highly optioned 1995 928 GTSs you will find anywhere with an original MSRP of ~$100,000. You can learn more about the 928 GTS here. We are selling this car for a couple reasons. First, we bought this 928 to drive as the other two 928s are in concours condition with very low miles and you can see from below we haven't driven it much. Second, we are about to start a kitchen renovation so available time will be even less and it would be nice to have the money to put toward the kitchen. It is a rock solid awesome looking car that I have spent much time and $ putting it back to stock and giving it the TLC it needed when we bought it. The car needs nothing to be driven, shown and/or enjoyed by a new owner.

Maintenance History:
Extremely well maintained
Complete Service Records from Day 1 included with sale (No recurring issues or major mechanical issues ever)
Recent Service includes timing belt and water pump, rebuilt tensioners, replace cam sprockets, flush brakes, flush coolant and flush transmission fluid - completed 11/13/2006 at a cost of $2,400.

Freshly resprayed Wheels
No warping or distortion of interior leather panels (the car had tint on all the windows for most of its life)
When we purchased the car I had the hood, front fenders, front bumper cover, rear bumper cover and rocker panels resprayed. The work was done correctly by removing all the parts (except front fenders) which in turn were individually painted by a local body shop that does very high end work. The hood had some etching marks either some sort of chemical overspray that couldn't be buffed out. The front fenders also had evidence of the same etching and the left front fender had a spot on the paint that was not repairable. The front bumper cover was resprayed so it would match the fenders and hood. The rocker panels were resprayed due to rock chips. The rear bumper cover was resprayed because at some point someone removed and replaced the "928 GTS" emblem, put it in the wrong place (see previous owner pics) and then sprayed clear coat over the emblem while on the car. When I removed the emblem to put it in the correct position there was an outline in the clear coat that could not be buffed out.
There is some evidence of Acid rain damage on the top (only visible under florescent lighting at certain angles) and some minor scratches on the rear spoiler. It is not a new car and although there some slight imperfections it presents itself extremely well.
As you can see in the "Previous Owner" pics the car had a HUGE stereo installed by the first owner at a cost of ~$40,000. When I bought the car most of it had been pilfered by someone and only the MB Quart speakers remained from the original system. A cheap head unit and amp had been installed in the enclosure that once held the high end system.
Restored/Replaced Items:
Restored Exterior Paint (many hours spent polishing remaining original paint- looks awesome)

Replaced stereo system with OE Porsche (head unit, amp, CD changer) ■
Removed yards of wire from installed phone, Lojack and stereo system
Replaced cargo net
Replaced rear tool carrier and all tools (original tools were missing, carrier had holes poked in it for the stereo install)

Replaced rear hatch area carpet (from S4, not correct foam padded peice)
Replaced hood pad insulation

Repaired holes in console from phone mount
Replaced front belly pan with more durable aluminum unit
Refinished intake and cam covers
Removed cup holder that was taped to the center console. Had to have leather touched up.
New "928 GTS" emblem replaced with one painted Guards Red

Rear brake pads replaced (replaced pads squealed)
Replaced switch covers for windows and sunroof (not decals)

The wood veneer on the shifter surround has delaminated a bit in one spot approximately 1' long. You can see it in the pics below, its the light colored spot to the right of the shift lever.

Prior to adding red "928 GTS" emblem
I spent three full days refinishing the intake and cam covers. While I was at it I cleaned and detailed the rest of the engine compartment. I am pleased with the results as it turned out VERY nice and now looks like it belongs to a car of this caliber.
