Vehicle Description Up for bids is a 1994 Porsche 928 GTS. This is a very rare sports car and one of the last of the breed at that. There were only 765 produced and only 100 imported to the USA. It was the fastest production automatic in the world with a base price of $92K. It features 350 HP 375 lb of Torque Aluminum Block & Heads 0-60 in 5.1 Seconds 2 inches wider in the rear than the standard 928 Bigger Brakes Electronically Controlled Limited Slip Differential Tire Pressure Monitoring System 50/50 Weight Distribution 17" Wheels w/ Nice Michelin Tires Kenwood CD w/ Removeable Face & Remote Control 10 speakers (factory) Porsche CD Changer (factory) Cruise Control Power Sunroof Dual Airbags Rear Wiper This Porsche appears to be lightly damaged under the rear bumper. I almost wonder if someone didn't back into a fire hydrant or some other low and skinny object. It starts right up and drives. I think all you would really need is a bumper cover and a muffler. Actually you could fix this muffler because I think it really only needs the right tip replaced and I woul think most muffler shops could easily do this. Supposedly the insurance company had to pay off this car because at the time of the estimate Porsche had the 928 GTS rear bumpers on an indefinite back order. However you can buy them from 928 International out of California as they now have them in stock. You see, if the insurance company can't have your car fixed in a "reasonable and timely manner" then by law they have to write your vehicle off as a total loss. As far as I know the rear bumper cover may have been repairable before it was cut. Obviously as the pictures show either the body shop or the insurance company cut out the middle of the bumper cover presumably to do a damage assessment. There is a small dent in the drivers side fender, my friends all said that a paintless dent removal company could pop this out in no time. Especially since it is an aluminum fender and not steel. There is some damage as pictured underneath the rear carpet area near the battery box. I imagine a frame shop could easily pound this out for you. Really though I don't think you would have to bother with it since it is hidden under the carpet and from the outside the rear bumper will be covering it. Other than the damage described the car appears to be in good condition and looks as though it has been well cared for. The interior is very nice and very clean. It is black leather and in very good condition. There are no rips, tears or damage. From what I can tell everything seems to function as it should except for the stereo which was not plugged in, it was in the back of the car in a box along with the CD changer and other parts pictured including the bumper pads, CD changer, and misc. fasteners. The left and right bumper mounts and the tail lights appear to be fine and not damaged. Also notice that I took a picture of the left and right area where the rear bumper meets the quarter panel to show that there is no visible damage. You can copy and paste the following link to view the Carfax report for the car. The car did not include any books, manuals or records. I have a Florida Salvage title on hand for the vehicle now which in most states can be turned into a rebuilt or even clean title. Feel free to email me for further info if you need a rebuilt title as that can be arranged. I have included several full size pictures below. Please be patient and let them load so you can see this vehilce for yourself. Interested bidders are more than welcome to come view the car in person before the auction ends. Just email me and we can make arrangements. Please email me with any questions you may have prior to placing your bid. The time to decide, determine and evaluate is during the auction. The conclusion of the auction is the time to pay. Being high bidder doesn't mean you've been awarded the opportunity to "think about it" or to "come up with the funds". It means you have entered a binding agreement to purchase this item immediately following the conclusion of the auction and that you have the funds to do so. Bidding on eBay auctions is easy and fun—but it's also serious business. Please understand that you are obligated to complete sales from all listings that you win, including auctions, eBay Stores, and Buy It Now transactions. Please read the User Agreement for the full details. With that in mind please read all terms and conditions as listed below before placing your bid. If you do not feel like you are capable of complying with all terms and conditions as listed then please refrain from bidding. ALL OF MY AUCTIONS ARE PRIVATE. This only means the bidders username will not be disclosed to anybody other than myself. Sorry it has to be this way but it is for the safety and privacy of all bidders. I never had any problem until a couple of years ago when all of the scammers came out. I would get several emails from my bidders stating somebody had emailed them and offered a similar item at a much cheaper price. The sad part was it always turned out to be a scam. This way that problem is eliminated and we don't have to worry. Thanks for looking and Good Luck bidding!!
