Chuck, Sure!!! No problem, your efforts are certainly worthy and I think it’s great you’ve taken on this task. The only thing I can’t provide you right now is more pictures of the car, because its current condition is not the greatest. I’ll tell you the story… About a year ago, when the car had 150K+ miles, we decided to rebuild the engine, not because of a specific problem but because it was due for timing belt/water pump, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, etc etc etc. Also Marc wanted to see how much power he could get out of a stock GTS engine,just with good engine building techniques, blueprinting and balancing, etc. Well, the results were excellent…we drove the car for about 6 weeks, and during that time some lady backed into us in our own parking lot! Did minor damage to the front driver side fender, which still needs to be fixed. Also, the color, Zermatt Silver, was one of the first water-based metallic paints and the original factory clearcoat did not fare too well….the paint looks awful on most of the horizontal surfaces of the car. About the same time, we had a customer in dire need of an engine, and we decided that since our GTS engine turned out so great, and it would be a “sure bet” for this customer, we sold him our engine and installed it in his car (not a GT or GTS) So as it sits now, our car looks awful and does not even have an engine in it!!! Marc is building another long block and hopefully we will have it up & running in a month or two…seems that we do not have much spare time these days, which is a good thing!
