The front & rear bumpers have been removed and resprayed – the paint is a perfect match. All seals and gaskets have been properly maintained and conditioned. Mechanical: All service has peen performed and is up to date including the 60K dealer service by Motor Werks Porsche in Barrington, Illinois. I have spent 10K on service within the last two years ensuring that everything is current and up to date. Mechanically, the car needs nothing. The engine is dead dry everywhere, no leaks or even weeps at all. The manual transmission is smooth and correct. The engine is tight and barely broken in. The air is cold and the heat and climate controls along with every accessory item works correctly. The bottom of the car is perfectly clean but not from detailing. It has never been high-centered and all of the pans and trays are free of damage. Everything is tight, smooth and correct. However what really sets this car apart are the subtleties-- for example all of the fragile little paper stickers are just where they were when delivered and there is none of the corrosion that you’ll see on the fasteners which also are original. Excellent paint on all 4 wheels with Sumitomo z-rated tires at essentially full tread and don't need to be changed. Interior: The Dash and Air-bag show no shrinkage or distortion. All of the fragile Rubberized coatings that turn to gum in sun baked cars are fresh. The driver side seat does show some bolster wear. There is no distortion in the fragile and very expensive Air-Conditioning control panel. The lighter is as new and the car has never been smoked in. This car has been carefully used, stored in a climate controlled building and professionally maintained. The preserved appearance is testament to this. Accessories: It has all of the books, service records, like new factory cover, and tool box. It has all of the keys and alarm codes. Everything that was delivered with the car is still with it. These cars came with a Porsche branded Sony stereo with a 6-disc CD changer in the trunk. I installed an aftermarket Kenwood stereo system at a cost of $4,000. The original stereo is available upon request. No modifications to this car at all-period. With the exception of the radio upgrade, It is original in every detail as produced by Porsche. I am selling this car to make room for a new Ferrari F430. I have also advertised this car locally and reserve the right to end the auction early if the car is no longer available.
