When I saw the first 928 (back in 1979) I knew I wanted to own one. And when they introduced the GTS in 1993, I knew this was the model I wanted. I bought this one in June 2000 from a collector in NJ. He had bought it a few years previously, also from a collector in Connecticut. So this one had always been lovingly cared for. I think it even won a prize one year from the PCA (northeast region). He was selling it because he'd taken a beating in the market. Anyway, the guy I bought it from was a real perfectionist about his cars -- always garaged, never driven in winter, only taken on long trips, carefully serviced. He handed me a (thin) file with all the records when I bought it. I've continued the garaging and running it only on longer trips, never on trips to the grocery store. Anyway, enough history. Here's all the information I can remember: 5.4 liter 32-valve V8 engine, 345 hp four-wheel discs, 17" rims with automatic  pressure sensors,  limited slip diff five-speed stick shift power everything new rear Michelins, older front Dunlops, will need to replace both in about 20K miles interior in exc. condition, carpet nice, "bra" and car cover included exterior not quite perfect, but close to it carefully maintained, records available, major service (incl. timing belt) done last year very reliable, rides great 70,000 miles I love the car, but am moving and have to sell Price: $32.5K Call Graham (650) 558-8577 or send an email to graham@assetman.com
