1993 (P) 928 GTS VIN Range - (Early) = WP0AA292_PS815001 - 149 (Late) = WP0AA292_PS820001 - 680
Base MSRP up to: $80,920
Engine size to 5.4L with power up to 345 bhp with 367 ft/lbs
Insulated intake tubes replace molded plastic intake tubes
Front brake rotor diameter size increased to 322 mm.
Brembo front brake calipers upgraded and surface area of pads increased
Rear fenders are flared 1"
Center reflector replaces "PORSCHE" between rear tail lights
Rear wheel spacers to accommodate wider rear track
Wheels were 7.5x17 front and 9x17 rear 17" "C2 Turbo" style wheels with an offset of 65mm(front) and 55mm(rear) with 225/45 17(front) and 255/40 17(rear) tires
RDK tire pressure monitoring system
Aero style mirrors
Front mounted transmission cooler
Revised automatic transmission shift program to handle increased power
Particle filter added to climate control system to filter dust and pollen out of the passenger compartment

1994 (R) 928 GTS VIN Range - WP0AA292_RS820061 - 0199
Early 1994 928 GTSs still have 17" "C2 Turbo" style wheels (approximately first 10-15 cars) Later 1994 928 GTSs have 17" "Cup" style wheels
Wheels were 7.5x17 front and 9x17 rear 17" "Cup" style wheels with an offset of 65mm(front) and 55mm(rear) with 225/45 17(front) and 255/40 17(rear) tires with the exception of 10-12 of the first 1994 MY 928 GTSs built, they still have the C2 Turbo style wheel as on MY 1993 928 GTSs.
Interesting note: 17" "Cup" style wheels appeared on the 928 and 968 one year before they appeared on the 993 making them truly 928/968 style wheels on a 993 HUH!
Tire Pressure Monitoring system (RDK) eliminated from the 928 but, 10-12 early 1994 MY 928 GTSs still have this system along with the C2 Turbo wheel as on the 1993 MY 928 GTSs.
