Vehicle Description I AM RELISTING DUE TO A NON PAYING MORON! If you do not have money to pay, please do not waste everyone’s time! I am sorry to have to sell my baby, but go it must. I have a VERY LOW reserve on this RARE 928 GT. LESS then 100 made in 1990!!! It is Grand Prix White a bright white and not the creamy color. It is a wonderful car, but not perfect. Read on and I will tell you all. First, my wife and I are adopting a little girl from China. The adoption is going much faster than we were lead to believe. Unfortunately due to this we will not be able to raise all the funds fast enough that we need to meet the financial obligations we are already committed to. So, my baby (928) will have to go to help pay for the new baby. I have put a lot of time and care into this car and would like to see someone buy it that will do what it takes to get it up to 100%. THE CAR: She spent most of her life down in Naples, Florida. I was told the rich old man that owned her. He would go about every other month to visit with his two daughters. One of his daughters lived in North Carolina, the other in Massachusetts. He hated to fly and loved to drive his 928. I was told that about 95 percent of miles (now around 150k) were put on as highway miles. I bought the car from someone connected to the estate after he passed on. I went down and drove it back up to Michigan. THE CONDITION: The exterior is fantastic; almost just like new, no dings or scratches. A bra was on the car, but lost in the estate so I do not have it. On the interior, the driver’s seat has a rip in the leather. The stereo is a Blaupunkt Ventura CD 83 with a 10 speaker premium sound system. The face plate, shortly before I got the car was left on the dash in the Florida sun and it burned up the LED display. The radio and CD works and I still continued to use it. The car does have a couple of electrical qwerks common on most 928s and can easily be fixed (see 928gt.com). The car has always been garaged (both here and in Florida) and has never been driven in the snow (except to take some of these photos). The car has been extremely well maintained and all of the maintenance has been professionally done and I have almost every receipt for the work. Over 30K worth in the last seven years all documented. These maintenance records of coarse will go on to the new buyer. The TIMING BELT WAS DONE APROX 25,000 miles ago. The tires (2) are like new with only about 5,000 MILES on them. The other two are real good also. The clutch will have to be replaced, however. The car does have a sunroof, power windows, seats, and leather. In the trunk is the original spare plus a tire inflator from Porsche they look like they were even never used. A complete tool kit, most are missing on the 928s is included (see photo) The car has is the club sport wheels, these were only available on the GT model and are a very well sought after item. The engine runs great, it sounds even meaner than a regular old automatic S4 (GT's have more horsepower and the car performs and sounds like it) I took the car in three months ago in and had it put on to a dyno, it measured 323HP. Not bad for a 13 year old car that was rated at 326HP new. It handles beautiful and gets lots of looks. The buyer will need to make arrangements to pick up the car or I can ship it at the buyer’s expense. It is a great car that is rare and will always be in demand for among 928 enthusiasts. With a little work this car could be close to perfect. It took me a long time to find one of these and I only want to get a reasonable price for it. Many thousands less than if it the items I just mentioned, I had time to complete; this car would be certainly be worth. My reserve as I said is LOW, I need to sell the car fairly quickly, due to my situation. AGAIN, Please if you do not intend on going through with the purchase DO NOT BID, save us all a lot of time. I have just gone through one of these experiences and this is more than enough for me. If you have ANY questions please feel free to call me, Ray. My home number (989) 779-0945 or my cell is (989) 928-5817. CALL ANYTIME UNTIL 8:00 AM to 11:00PM EST. THANK YOU
