Beautiful guards red with black leather interior.  This is the rare 5 speed manual 928.   I love this car, but I must sell it due to credit card bills.   She is truly one of a kind, and any car enthusiast will love her.  The 928 once replaced the king of sports cars, the 911, as Porsche's premier flagship vehicle.  In  Scarface, Al Pacino opts to purchase the most prestigous sports car available, a shiny new 928.  While all 928's have V8 engines; the GT is truly a rare breed, amongst the best of the best with it's 32-valve 5-liter engine producing a stock performance of 330 hp and a max tested speed in excess of 160mph.  For more information regarding the 928 and the GT specifically I recommend looking at http://www.928s4vr.com

This car has been cared for like a baby since I bought it 2 years ago.  Only Mobile-1 Tri-synthetic motor oil, the same as every vehicle that roles out of the Porsche factory today.  Only crystal-clear Amoco premium 93 octane gasoline.  This car is always parked in no man's land at the mall or any other destination.  Upgraded to Nology ignition wires for extra HP.   Racing foot pedal set for extra grip.   The custom sound system, featuring a Kenwood 10-disc changer, produces several hundred watts of rich andreline-rushing audio pleasure.  The car is lined with MB Quart premium speakers, making the sound system cost new about a couple thousand dollars.

This car is such an unbelievable thrill to drive.  It handles like nothing else on the road. If you are planning on driving it home, I recomend plotting a course through the mountians if at all possible.   This car has the equivelant muscle power that one might find in a Corvette or Mustang; but it is also gifted at handling and styling due to its distinctive German engineering, and all the pride and prestige that comes with that heritage.

Known issues:  Tilt steering lever is not functioning.  AC needs recharging.  The passenger window has a tendency to need a push to get back on track when rolling-up.  The tires have tread, but are not new.  When I purchased the car I was told that it had never been wrecked, but one of the doors is a slightly brighter shade of red than the rest of the paint.  Everything lines up.   There are a few small negligable paint nicks along the base of the car.

The car is located in Greenville County, South Carolina, about half way on I-85 between Atlanta and Charlotte.  Car is sold as-is with no warranty stated or implied.  Buyer is responsible for shipping and all taxes and title in your state of residence.  10% non-refundable deposit due with 72 hours, car must be picked up within 10 days.   Please email me with any questions:  major@murphynetworks.com
