After being 928-less for 6 years, I found a good one a couple of weeks ago and closed the deal last Saturday.  Some details:

Looking through the registry, this appears to be only the 2nd Velvet Red '90 model, and only the 4th overall (89-90).  It also appears to be the only '90 model in the registry without side mouldings.  If only it had sport seats and sport suspension...alas, better not get greedy.  :)  It's a pretty rare car just as it is.  I'll get a Certificate of Authenticity from PCNA as soon as possible. 

 

Clean Carfax (I know, no guarantee), and it looks like I'm only the third owner.  I don't have any previous owner contact information, but from all appearances it has been pampered.  No dash cracks, minimal warpage of the rear interior trim panels, doesn't appear to have seen much sun or rain (was originally a California car).
