More Information:
4th owner as far as I know. She is equipped with Cup One wheels with
painted Porsche Crest centers and RMB as the only modifications. Mostly
driven on weekends as I am afforded a company car for work.

Hi Chuck,
I believe that I am the 4th owner of this 1989 928s4 A/T which was
originally sold at Jim Ellis Porsche in Atlanta. I bought it in 9/2004.
The first owner (a dental surgeon) had the car for some time...sold it (at
85k miles) to a Porsche broker in 1998 who had it for 8 months, 3rd owner
(archictect and active Rennlist member) had the car 6-years (45k miles).
Third owner poured TLC and upgrades into the car (e.g., Devek high
capacity radiator, cup one wheels (from 928 Specialists with RE730s), all
vacuum lines replaced, engine removed and resealed. Serviced at
Northpointe Auto (Alpharetta, GA; Joel Roeder - owner)by the 3rd owner.
Extensive service history (with receipts). No known accidents or damage.
Cosmetic condition: Original factory paint, no door dings, standard road
rash and rock chips on front spoiler and hood, ubiquitous dash-bisecting
crack, driver's bolster worn through (repair underway very soon...sourcing
leather now).
Based on the VIN I was able to obtain the infomation below from
Porsche N.A. Customer Service -
VIN # : 0438
WPO= every Porsche has this designation
J= type designation is "S4"
B= normally aspirated engine
K= 1989 model year
S= made in Stuttgart (nice to know that!)
series #860438= 438th 928 made that year...I believe.
Paint color: Guards Red
Interior: Cashmere (tan leather and black trim).
Finished production date: 10/4/88
(interesting that the exact date was available from Porsche NA)
