This is considered by some as one of the most rare and desirable 928’s. The vehicle is Guards Red with Black leather interior. The GT when compared to an S4 has a shorter shifter, limited slip, different cams, different gears, higher rev limiter, more horsepower, different front springs and rolled fenders to name a few. This car has approximately 70,000 miles. The odometer reads 15,000 miles but the records I have show the instrument cluster was replaced at approx. 55,000 miles in 11/95 so based on service records since that time I believe the actual mileage is around 70,000. Recent service of the car includes but is not limited to: Most hoses (including A/C) and vacuum lines replaced. New A/C drier, new water pump, timing belt, thermostat and rebuilt tensioner. New motor mounts, oil pan gasket and oil cooler line. Intake and cam covers were powder coated. New flappy valve and flappy bearings. New throttle cable, plug wires, caps and rotors, spark plugs and wires. Also replaced were the knock sensors, cam seals and throttle valve switch. The idle stabilizer was cleaned and the injectors have been professionally cleaned and flow tested. The battery is 1 1/2 years old. Clutch, throwout bearing and ball cup done approx. 6k miles ago. LH brain was replaced 5k miles ago. Tires have 6k miles on them. Vehicle has a Rear Muffler Bypass in place of the rear muffler. Original muffler is included. Fresh oil and coolant change. Current needs: Cruise cable needs to be replaced (I have the part), the A/C compressor clutch might need replacement in the future (this can be done with the compressor on the car with no refrigerant loss) but the A/C works just fine.
