It is in excellent original condition inside and out. This is a fully optioned car including rear air and it carries the OEM forged CS wheels with new Toyo Proxies mounted. This car has not been modified and is complete and original, including the OEM belly pans (aside from the GTS bumper cap which replaces a cracked original). The original spare tire, spare tire compressor, cargo net, cargo cover, all tools, both the owners and maintenance manuals in their respective binder, both belly pans, original stereo, new factory Porsche embroidered floor mats, original and extremely rare, newly polished Club Sport wheels and Toyo Proxes. Maintenance includes intake and valve covers have been refinished and come with new gaskets, seals, vacuum lines, etc. The radiator is also new as well as the timing belt, water pump, tensioner rebuilt, cam seals, gaskets etc. The timing belt has been re-tensioned per schedule. All original decals including the ones on the radiator and rear quarter window "Porsche Alarm System" and "unleaded fuel only" decals are new as well. New brake rotors and pads were recently fitted all around to satisfy Canadian import requirements of this US car. Clear signal light and marker lenses have been fitted. This is quite likely one of the nicest '89 GTs around. Some concern has been raised about repatriating this originally US imported car. US Customs infoms me that repatriation is a simple matter of presenting the original US title (which I have) together with the bill of sale to any US Customs office, and they will issue the document necessary to re-title the car in any US state. This is a no-cost process.

Vehicle Description 

 This GT is completely original and retains all of it's originality. The original spare tire, spare tire compressor, cargo net, cargo cover, all tools, both the owners and maintenance manuals in their respective binder, both belly pans, original stereo, original and extremely rare, newly polished Club Sport wheels and Toyo Proxes tires both have less than 500 miles on them. And the factory Porsche embroidered floormats are new too. The intake and valve covers have been professionally refinished and come with new gaskets, seals, vacuum lines, etc. The radiator is also new as well as the timing belt, water pump, tensioners, cam seals, gaskets etc. The timing belt has already been retensioned per schedule. All original decals including the ones on the radiator and rear quarter window "Porsche Alarm System" and "unleaded fuel only" decals are new as well. There are no dings, scratches, chips, or flaws to the exterior. The paint is as new. The interior is also as new. There's not even any visible wear to the drivers seat side bolster. The previous owners used sheepskin seatcovers. Everything works on the car, with no exceptions. It's a true GT and is extremely rare! '89 GT's are not only the rarest, they're the most sought after! It came stock with sport shock absorbers and springs, actual mechanical limited slip differential vs. computerized on later GT's and no airbags. You will not find a finer example of this car with half the mileage! Call me anytime with any questions, concerns or request for additional pictures. I also have every single service record dating back to 1989 including the pre-delivery inspection. The service history folder is at least an inch thick, maybe more! This is one exceptional GT!

According to a Rennlister who looked at this car personally, it looked tired.  The seller did tell me that he had done several PCA DE events with the car too.  Might explain the "tired" look of the car described by the individual who looked at the car.
