Hi this car was made for the 1988 Frankfurt auto show it has a special paint color called Elefant Bein Pearlglanz, the full leather intrior is called Pearl Gray, it has white carpets. The car was made to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 928. I purchased it on Ebay and was then informed that it was stolen and trying to be sold by an eager seller. Anyway after 5 months of wrangling with the Ca DMV and the owner i purchaed the car and brought it back to utah and restored it. The car has been zero timed everything has been rebuilt and every lin has been replaced the engine was redone with all new bearings and the crank was polished, and the block was decked, the heads were redone with new guides and seals and new valves were installed where needed, new tensioners and chains, new injectors, the list goes on ane on. New Bilstein shocks and new 2005 S4 Carrera wheels and Twin Turbo Big reds were also installed, the trans was resealed and and the Torque tube rebuilt, the AC system was redone with new everything . The car runs great and looks great especially in the sun,I took it to Sharktoberfest on 2005 and won best external finish. I was assited with this project by Garrity and Dave at Motorsport in Utah, without their help this would not have turned out as well as it has.
