Vehicle Description If you are looking for a good Porsche 928 S4. You are viewing an excellent example of a 1988 Porsche 928 S4. This car has had only 2 owners and has always been garaged. This car has never seen snow or ice. I have a lot of receipts and the warranty book. The timing belt, water pump, and hoses were replaced at 75,000 miles. The battery, all four tires (Michelin Pilot XGT), spark plugs, and air filter were all replaced within the last 2,000 miles. The paint on this car is very nice. There are a few door dings, but not into the paint. Other than that the car is just about perfect except a few very minor scratches. The interior on the car is just about as good as you can get. It has never been smoked in. The dash was cracked, but I had it recovered 800 miles back and now looks great. Seats are excellent. The driver’s bolster was repaired along with the dash. Both the dash cracks & seats wear are quite common for these cars, but both have been fix. The door panels have no cracks. The carpet is near perfect and beautiful. The center console, shifter, cassette holders, cig lighter, ashtray, all like new. Headliner is perfect. No warping from water leaks. Sunroof operates perfectly. All switches for power windows, sunroof, rear wiper, etc.. work perfectly. The cargo compartment is near perfect. Tools are there. The spare, jack, compressor are all there. All glass is excellent, including the windshield. No chips or cracks. Everything but windshield has dark tint and looks goood. All the wheels are in great shape, one has minor curb rash from car wash (not concrete). The transmission was pulled out and gone over 1,500 miles ago. The transmission pump was replaced and the CV boots were also replaced at that time. I had $1,200 in A/C work done a little over three years ago and it blows very cold, both front and rear. There are no leaks or drips at all. The engine runs very strong and smooth. This car is Not old and worn out, it’s still very tight and responsive. The car handles great. I want to be up front and let you know that the Porsche dealerships paint shop had repainted the car three years ago. The car was keyed when parked at the airport. I have the police report from the airport to show that was all the damage that was done. The car has never been wrecked or bent in any way. A Slight scuff on front bumper cover along with a few very small rock chips. However this a 16 year old car and it’s in great shape. For the last two and a half years the car has been a weekend driver only. Why am I selling it? I am trying to build a new house, and getting married in November. Put simply, I need the money. I am selling this car for much less than I have into it. I may be able to meet & deliver the car, if it works with my schedule. If there are angles or close-ups you would like to see, send me email and I’ll get them to you.
