It was, and still is, the only 8-cylinder Porsche there is. It was designed for the most important market in the world, the United States. Because strict type approval would include extremely demanding crash tests, which a rear-engined 911 would not pass, the 928 was born as a front engine car. But it had to live up to the 911 Turbo, the 928 had to be a magnificent sports car with excellent aerodynamics, and exciting character. Now if you have any idea of how much these are worth, then you will think our reserve of $9,000.00 is a gift. Because, even though this Porsche has high miles, I can assure you it was all highway driven, because it runs GREAT! It is an automatic with the massive V8 engine, it has climate control factory air conditioning, AM/FM Alpine CD with Blaupunk speakers, electric sun roof, Porsche Alloy Wheels, off white leather interior, Momo Competition steering wheel, power windows, power mirrors, full instrument cluster, cruise control, rear seat console, and dual power seats with 3 settings driver seat memory. The body is Excellent, the paint is good it has been repainted sometime in it's life. There are a few stone chips and scratches, but no dents. Also, the paint is thin on the left front fender, just very slight. The engine is strong and the interior is nice. In fact, here are some specs for those of you who aren't sure what a 928 can do: Max speed 270 km/h. Acceleration, 0 km/h-100 km/h in 5.9 sec.
