The 928 S-4 represents a plateau in automotive engineering. This car, the fastest touring car in the world in 1987, combines crisp handling, phenomenal power and comfort in a reliable package under the legendary Porsche name. This car has a 316 HP, DOHC, alloy V-8 and an automatic transmission. 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, 0-1/4 mile 13.8 seconds with a speed of 101.5, top speed achievable, 165 mph. The 928 S4 has many aluminum body panels, including the hood, fenders and doors. As expected in a super-car, the interior can be modified to match the driver. The seats, instrument pod and pedals are adjustable. The most amazing thing is that the car was designed in 1977. The 928 was produced from 1977 to 1995 without major body or engine changes.
