Vehicle Description This is an excellent 928. It is in better condition than 99% of the others listed on eBay. I have gone through the entire car and fixed everything. You may have heard that 928s have electrical gremlins....this one does NOT. I've gone so far as to remove the fuse panel and clean every single electrical connection and spade terminal. THIS CAR IS READY TO DRIVE...IT REQUIRES NOTHING BUT GAS AND A HEAVY FOOT. In addition to fixing all electrical problems, I have done the following in the past year: 1. Timing belt, roller, tensioner, water pump replaced (by certified 928 mechanic) 2. Aftermarket chips installed (claimed 20-30 hp increase) 3. 8" H4 headlights installed ($500 in parts) 4. Aftermarket stereo with 2 Kenwood amps, MB Quartz speakers, 10" subwoofer, Blaupunkt head unit and CD player 5. New spark plugs 6. New vacuum lines (ALL leaks fixed…common 928 problem) 7. New A/C compressor ($600) 8. New o-rings for compressor 9. New A/C dryer 10. New intake runner seals. Large and small 11. New MAF o-rings 12. New throttle body o-rings 13. Fuel injectors services and MATCHED (rarely done!) 14. New air filter 15. Evaporator coil cleaned 16. Blower motor and wheel cleaned 17. New climate control actuators 18. All air leaks fixed in climate control system (another common 928 problem) 19. New hot water shut-off valve (ESSENTIAL for PROPER A/C operation) 20. New printed circuit board for instrument pod 21. All new light bulbs in instrument pod (not easy…or fun) 22. All light bulbs replaced around outside of car (again….not easy or fun) 23. New instrument pod dimmer switch 24. New intermittent wiper switch 25. New battery 26. New brake pads 27. Brake fluid flushed and changed 28. Coolant flushed and changed 29. Aftermarket shifter light installed 30. New shifter plate 31. New 4-way vacuum check valve 32. Kickdown bypass switch installed (ever wanted to go from 60 to 100 in a blink?) 33. New Kumho tires with less than 1,000 miles 34. New shocks 35. Oil changes….every 3,000 miles/3 months ALL THIS....AND AN INSTALLED REMOTE RADAR DETECTOR! Vehicle Condition I say the car is "only" better than 99% of the other 928s on eBay. That's because I'm a fanatic about body work and this 928 has a few stone chips. It also has a broken front spoiler. The left tweeter speaker cover is cracked. There is NO spare tire....I've removed it to fit the subwoofer in its place. I do have the tire, and you have it if you want it. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I've already bought another 928 that is in the process of getting supercharged. Since I've already done all of the engine work to this 928, I didn't want to waste my prior efforts when replacing parts to install the supercharger. Terms of Sale I expect 10% of the winning bid to be wired or sent via express mail (certified funds only) within 72 hours of the close of the auction. The remainder of the purchase price MUST be received within 10 days of the end of the auction, also by wire or certified funds. I will help coordinate shipping the car, but the winning bidder is responsible for all related costs. I have shipped cars before, so I can recommend appropriate shippers.
