Not often do you find an affordable “barn-find,” but this may be the one
for you. Discovered in a local garage, the grandson of the previous owner
was shocked to find that the car not only started up, but also drove
great. His grandfather absolutely loved this car and it was always his
dream to buy a new Porsche.
Purchased new locally, this 928 was always serviced at Circle Porsche in
Long Beach. You can tell that regular maintenance was performed because
the car drives fantastic!
Recently a service was performed including a new power steering hose, new
battery, and topping off/changing all fluids. The aluminum body is in
very good shape and is quite straight. There are a few minor blemishes in
the paint, but nothing unusual for a car this old. The front rubber
spoiler is missing but can easily be replaced at a host of local Porsche
parts stores. The Air Conditioning system works absolutely fantastic and
will freeze you out in the dead heat of a Palm Springs summer. The
transmission shifts silky smooth and shows zero signs of wear. 50% of the
brake pad life is left and the tires are in good shape.
This is a great opportunity to own a classic 1-owner/local Porsche GT car
with no stories at a mere fraction of its original price.
