Vehicle Description This auction is for two (2) vehicles. The first vehicle is a 1981 Porsche 928 and the second is a 1983 Porsche 928/S I purchased these vehicles for my son, who had planned a restoration project at my expense. With school and studies, the time and expertise required to complete this project were beyond his level of experience. So now the cars are being sold as a package, to someone with the time and experience to complete this project. The 1981 / 928 (VIN # WP0JA0929BS821644) was purchased as a doner car. The title is clear. It is red with a tan interior. The body is straight, with no metal damage. The paint is in poor condition. The interior is a disaster. The front seats need to be re-upholstered. The rears are badly faded. The dash is missing some items that were placed into the other vehicle. The motor would start when I picked it up, but would sputter and die. I believe the fuel pump needs to be replaced. The 1983 /928s (VIN # WP0JB0927DS861897) is black with a black interior. The vehicle has a reconstructed title. It is my understanding the car was hit on the right side in 1986 (Florida). I don't know the extent of the damage, but I assume it was rebuilt. The seats I believe are out of a 1986. They are leather, 8 position, heated, power seats. The electrical leads for the seat heaters are not connected. They need a switch. Windows, sunroof, seats all work. The A/C needs to be charged, as I believe it is low on freon. The speedometer is intermittent . I believe it's a floating ground, as all the components from the back to front checked ok. The odometer reads 118,500 miles. The car looks nice inside and out, but needs work to become a dependable daily driver. My son drives it to school occasionally , but lately it's become a little feisty and hard to start. If you park on an incline, it won't start. I've checked the fuel pump and check valve. They seem to work. I've also been told there is a sensor block at the fuel injection rails that may be acting up. In addition, I have two additional seats, door panels and misc interior parts. The cars are being sold "As Is"... I have tried to state everything I know regarding the condition of these vehicles.
