Vehicle Description 1 of 205 "Weissach Edition" 928s built. This rare model featured all the standard "S" model performance equipment (except the engine) a year early. The unique color combination was never duplicated, and looks as good today as it ever did! This car stands out, even among fellow 928s, at every southern California Porsche event I have participated in. Very few Weissach 928s exist today, unlike the more common 911 Weissach edition. The 928 is a great car, and this limited edition model is at the top of the list of the most collectible models. If you are going to buy a 928, this well-maintained, dependable car is a wiser investment than the more common versions. Vehicle Condition Extremely dependable. I'm the third owner & drove it daily for a year with minimal problems. No expense has been spared on this car during its lifetime. I have every repair & improvement receipt since new! It has been discriminently exercised, which had kept it running like a champ! At this point, all it needs is repair of the front seat leather and an AC recharge. (Never needed AC in San Diego) Dash leather is excellent, which is almost unheard of in a 928! New tires, fuel injectors & lines, rebuilt alternator, timing belt replacement has been done. K&N air filter. Car also has a polished Borla stainless steel exhaust. Paint is nice, but not perfect. Small inch-long scratch dent in lower rocker just above jacking point. Paint crack above rear license plate. Overall, the car gives the impression that it is a well-cared-for 5-8 year old model instead of its true 20-year age! I've owned her for 4 years and looked a long time to find one this well-maintained & nice looking! Now, it's time for me to move on to a convertible Porsche and this little jem to move on to a new owner who will enjoy it as much as I have!
