Description 1982 Porsche 928 – Meticulously maintained vehicle. It has 35K
original miles. I am the third owner. The first owner had the car from
1982 until 2000 and only put 7k miles on it. The second owner purchased it
in 2000 and put about 22,000 miles on it. I purchased the car in September
of 2002 and have put about 5500 miles on it. The vehicle is 100% original
and comes with extensive records all the way back to the original bill of
laden and visas from the first owner’s trip to Germany to pick the vehicle
up. It is a great everyday driver. Vehicle Condition The vehicle’s
condition is awesome. I have driven the vehicle as a daily driver since
September with no problems. The vehicle starts immediately, hot or cold.
Again, all service records will accompany the vehicle. From 1982 until
2000 the vehicle was maintained by Bob Moore Porsche Audi here in Oklahoma
City. From 2000 until present, all maintenance has been done by Bob
Dumont’s (Dumont’s) a well-known, “Porsche Only” repair shop in downtown
OKC. Recent service includes a new climate control unit and a new
alternator. The brakes and suspension are in perfect condition. I also
replaced all four tires, so they have approximately 5,500 miles on them.
All power options on the vehicle are in 100% working order including power
windows, locks, seats (passenger and driver), sunroof, etc. The original
radio is still in the car and works great. The original Blaupunkt
instruction tape accompanies the owners manual. The vehicle has the
original Porsche tool kit along with the original Porsche car kit
including the water bottle, touch up paint, etc. It also has the air
compressor for the spare. The exterior paint on the vehicle is perfect.
There is very little evidence of any road rash other than on the passanger
mirror and a few minor spots on the front of the hood. None that are
visable unless you are right up on them. The interior is perfect, no cuts,
slashes, tears can be found in the carpet, headliner, seats, dash, etc.
The dash is covered to prevent the leather dash from pulling away from the
vents as is commonly a problem with these vehicles. Purely preventative.
All major service has been done, tune-ups, etc. Per Dumont's, there is
really nothing left to do other than to maintian the regular service, i.e.
oil and lube. Please email me with questions or if you need additional
