Vehicle Description 1982 PORSCHE 928 There is no substitute!! For Beauty!! I am only the 2nd owner of this magnificent sports car. The original owner passed away and the title was transferred then to his wife. I bought the car from her. The car had 60,000 miles when I purchased it in May 1998. These cars are becoming rare, especially those in good condition with low miles. It has only been driven less than 3,500 miles per year. It is a V8, automatic, 220 hp, and very fast. Original factory books come with the car. I even have an original 33 page brochure of this car, exactly what you would get at the Porsche dealership, back in 1982. It goes with the car. The color is guards red with black (full leather) interior. It has been garaged kept and stored every winter. It is NEVER driven when the roads are wet. The car just turned 73,000 miles and is in great condition inside and out. It’s a blast to drive, and in absolutely great condition. The Porsche has a current Pennsylvania state inspection. Very often, when I pull into a gas station or up to a store, I get asked what year the car is, and usually the reply is that they thought it was new. There are no surprises here. I am selling the car because I just don’t have the time to drive it anymore. Thanks! Replaced Transmission Fluid and Filter (August 2001) Front Rotors and Pads Replaced (April 2002) Front Gas Boge Shocks Replaced (April 2002) Vehicle Condition As I said, I have owned the car since May 1998, and have invested since then over $7500 in upgrades and repairs. I have all receipts since I purchased it. I believe it is one of the nicest looking 1982 928’s around. All areas of the full leather interior are in great condition. The doors, dash, seats, and headliner are all black leather with no cracks, rips, or tears. The paint is in great condition and shines well. Of course since the car is 21 years old, there are some scratches, minor bumps (two, I believe, less than 1”), and chips. There is a small area on the rear fender, near the antenna, where some of the clear coat is wearing off, but is still shiny (see pix). There is a factory applied textured finish along the bottom edge of the fenders and doors, that has scuffs, and needs to be cleaned or refinished(see pix). This is very normal for these cars. Some of the wheels have scuff marks or tiny chips probably caused by mechanics changing tires or road debris. The cruise control sometimes does not function correctly. The engine starts right up every time, does not burn oil, or smoke. There are the typical minor “seepage” of fluids (near oil pan and transmission), but not enough to cause major drips. Many of these items could be considered nitpicking, especially for a 21 year old car, but I wanted to disclose everything.
