Vehicle Description This is a very rare 1981 Porsche 928 Convertible. Beautiful pearl white paint with matching white on black interior. It features a black cloth convertible top, a 5 spd transmission, and a V8. I purchased this car from a dealer in Mississippi in November with the intention of giving it some polishing touches to make it a really nice automobile- but unfortumately I have lost the space to keep the car so it must go. The dealer I bought the car from new very little about the car so information on the convertible conversion is not known. It is a nice conversion though- the car looks as though it were factory made and has a nice profile to it. The car has a clear title. Low reserve! Vehicle Condition This car only needs a little TLC to become a really nice performance automobile. The car runs and drives smoothly. The 114K miles are believed to be original- this mileage was stated on the previous title to the car- but please note that the odometer has recently stuck. The convertible top should be replaced- there are not any tears in the fabric but the top does not align properly with the back of the windows when up. The top raises and lowers without any problems- the alignment problem should be able to be taken care of by any convertible/upholstery installation shop. It may just be a matter of installing new material for the top. The drivers side door lock will need to be looked at by a locksmith- it locks and unlocks manually but the key does not turn the lock. The passenger side power window may need attention- it sometimes refuses to go down- other times fuctions properly. Please note that this is a older used car and therefore will require the attention and upkeep normally required for such a vehicle. In all, the car is a very presentable sportscar. Terms of Sale This car is for sale "As is, Where is" , with no warranties written or implied. A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the end of auction. The balance is due within 5 days from the close of auction. The car must be picked up at this time unless other mutually satisfactory arrangemements are made between the buyer and seller in advance.
