Vehicle Description This is a true classic 1980 Porsche 928. The purest Tony Anatole Lapine ever designed and the best that PORSCHE has ever made. The auto has been in storage in an enclosed garage at my home for the last 6 years!! This Porsche has not been driven during this period therefore has not been registered in the DMV for approximately five years. The good news is that once the car is purchased it can once again be registered without penalty fees. This car has the 230 HP V-8 with an auto transmission, Alphin alarm system, electric windows, power seats, power brakes, AC, front and rear window defrosters and stereophonic cassette player. The body is straight. There are tiny scratches and minor dents that are hardly visible. The white paint is in excellent condition. This is a pure sports car so there is no sunroof therefore you get better rigidity and pure sports behavior. The driver seat is slightly worn on the side and the dash has some minor cracks above the instrument cluster. This is an adult owned car that received excellent treatment. The all aluminum motor is in great shape compared to other cars this age. I’m using fully synthetic castrol W10/50 oil that I’m changing every year without having driven the car at all. Get great performance at a great price. This car will run with all the big dogs on the street today. With performance upgrades this is a 200MPH car. This is a truly great performing car. Vehicle Condition Walking around this car you see tires that appear to be new and the famous telephone 16”wheels that are in excellent shape. The body is as straight as a new car however there are tiny scratches and minor dents that are hardly visible (2 tiny dents that are less then 5mm in diameter). The paint is OK. The interior looks clean upon first inspection. A closer look shows that the front seats are somewhat worn and could be redone or just add new seat covers. The leather covering the dash has small cracks (from the sun) above the steering wheel and the instrument panel . Otherwise the interior is very clean. The AC needs gas refilling.
