This 928 is the 166th 928 to roll of the assembly line for the US market. I have never seen another first year 928 in as perfect shape as this one. It has only traveled a little over 47,900 miles since's it rolled of the Porsche factory and it was later be called the car of the year for 1978. Amazing mileage for such a year. The 928 is in excellent condition throughout. NO problems to speak off. There are many other 928's out there but I know you won't find a better one in such condition. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. This Porsche has been owned by me for three years and is in perfect running order. Here is a synopsis of what you will be getting: 1. Problem free, museum quality Porsche 2. Only 47,900 miles, I have all records to prove that this is the correct mileage 3. Very early production number # 166, and extremely rare condition for such and early 928 4. All mechanics are up to date and I have had all the work done by Butch Stokes, the best Porsche specialist for 928's in the area (I can supply his # if necessary) 5. Paint is all original, the color was a special order item, and it was the second car to be supplied in this color. 6. Never any accidents, panels are straight as an arrow, look at the pictures! 7. Engine has a new and expensive all aluminum radiator (the original radiators were made of plastic and aluminum, the plastic would warp after time) 8. Trany shifts perfect 9. The radio is not a stock item (I have been trying to locate one since I bought the car but have yet to find one). The Speakers will also need replacement as they are the original units. 10. I have all the paper work from the beginning plus some very rare photos and press releases that came with the car. 11. Breaks are top notch 12. Original tool kit and emergency supply kit 13.
